Sabah Tourism Board and Pacific World Malaysia, together with Malaysia Airlines and Destination Marketing Services recently hosted a group of Australian conference and incentive planners on an educational to Malaysia’s exotic resort town of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and the destination’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.
A remarkable and truly cultural country offering a myriad of experiences, it is no wonder that Malaysia is known as one of the most popular incentive destinations for Australian incentive groups.
Pacific World, Malaysia’s leading destination management company, developed a program that perfectly showcased the ‘best’ that Malaysia has to offer for conference and incentive groups. Arriving in Kota Kinabalu; the land of exotic wildlife, crystal clear waters, lush rainforests, and ethnic cultures, the group were accommodated at the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa and Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort. They were able to experience white water rafting, view the baby Orang Utans at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort with a visit to Kampung Neylan Floating Seafood Restaurant to enjoy some local seafood cuisine and watch a live cultural performance.
Arriving in Kuala Lumpur (or KL as it is affectionately known) the group undertook a city orientation tour including a site inspection of Traders Hotel, followed by an overnight stay at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, centrally located in the heart of the business and shopping district of Kuala Lumpur.
Pacific World Destination East has been operating for over 22 years providing great attention to detail, and focus on quality in people and systems to produce memorable experiences.
