After a two-year renovation, the Petersen Automotive Museum’s will open its newly designed location in December of 2015 featuring a dynamic redesigned exterior and interior by Kohn Pedersen, and including 22 new exhibit galleries. On the new 75-minute “Behind the Scenes” Vault Tour, an exclusive tour of the underground storage Vault of the Museum, guests will see over 100 years of automotive history, paired with a private cocktail reception or dinner on the Penthouse & Terrace level. As a classic tourist attraction on the World Famous Santa Monica Pier, the amusement park can be rented exclusively by any group.
